From a Fairytale Proposal to Sunset by the Lake

As an engagement photographer on Lake Garda, I have the privilege of capturing some of the most emotional and unforgettable moments in couples’ lives. One of these magical stories happened in Malcesine, a charming town on the eastern shore of the lake.

Charlie, originally from Northampton in England, chose the historic Malcesine Castle as the perfect setting to propose to his beloved Amey. Inside the ancient walls, overlooking the breathtaking views of Lake Garda, he got down on one knee and asked the most important question. Amey’s joyful “yes” made this place even more special, and I was there to capture every detail of their engagement.

After the proposal, we strolled through the narrow cobbled streets of Malcesine, a maze of romantic alleys that perfectly frame such an intimate love story. From the castle, we made our way to the picturesque lakefront, where the soft evening light gave us the perfect atmosphere for natural and emotional engagement photos.
