A few months before his summer trip to Italy, Neil contacted me from Singapore with a very special request. He was planning a holiday with his girlfriend, Cellyn, that would include Venice, Verona, and the breathtaking Lake Garda. What made this trip unforgettable was his plan to surprise her with a marriage proposal at Lake Garda.

Having seen some of my work as a Lake Garda engagement photographer, Neil already had a clear idea of the exact place where he wanted to propose. He chose the charming town of Riva del Garda, along the lakeside promenade that stretches from the historic center to the beaches. This location is incredibly scenic, but also quite popular and often busy with people. To make sure the moment was intimate and perfectly captured, we decided to present the occasion as a couple photoshoot at Lake Garda.

We began with some relaxed portraits along the waterfront, enjoying the late summer light and the stunning mountain views that make Lake Garda so unique. When the time was right, I guided them to the chosen spot. There, Neil dropped to one knee and asked the big question. Surrounded by the beauty of Lake Garda, Cellyn said yes!

The atmosphere was filled with joy, love, and excitement. After the proposal in Riva del Garda, we continued the engagement session at Lake Garda with more romantic and natural couple portraits. The combination of crystal-clear water, dramatic mountain peaks, and charming Italian scenery created the perfect backdrop to celebrate such a life-changing moment.
