That peaceful mood became the backdrop for Saket and Arighni’s unforgettable engagement session in Riva del Garda.

The couple had travelled from London for a romantic escape on Lake Garda, staying at the elegant Lido Palace. What Arighni did not know was that Saket had carefully planned a surprise proposal during their trip.

When we met in the location Saket had chosen, the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. The town was almost empty thanks to the low season, and the mild temperature made it comfortable to walk along the lakeside. Saket had told Arii that the hotel offered a complimentary photo session for guests, so she arrived completely unaware of what was about to happen.

With the calm waters of Lake Garda behind them and the mountains hidden softly by the clouds, Saket asked the most important question of his life. Ari’s surprise quickly turned into pure joy, creating one of those genuine moments that every photographer hopes to capture naturally.

The overcast sky gave us a beautifully soft light throughout the session, perfect for creating timeless and romantic images. One of the things I love most about engagement sessions during the quieter months is the opportunity to enjoy places like Riva del Garda without the usual crowds. Every moment felt intimate and personal, allowing Saket and Ari to simply enjoy each other and the excitement of their engagement.

At the end of our walk, we returned to Lido Palace, where Saket had organised one final romantic surprise: a beautiful bouquet of roses waiting for Arighni at the hotel. It was the perfect ending to a deeply emotional and elegant proposal on Lake Garda.
